• Bank of America and Coercion

  “The practice of compelling a person or forcing them to behave in an involuntary way (whether through action or inaction) by use of threats, intimidation, trickery, or some other form of pressure or force. These are used as leverage, to force the victim to act in the desired way.”

  I went into a Bank of America to cash a pay-check. The check was written from a Bank of America business account. The check was verified and authentic, the funds were available, the signature was validated. They simply said “NO.” They would not cash the check unless I opened an account with them. After wasting a half hour of my time I walked out in disgust. What kind of bull-shit is that?
